Onsite Datacenter Power: Fuel Cell + Microgrid + Gas Turbine — behind-the-meter generation & MV switchgear
**Companies committing:** bloom-energy, generac, schneider-electric, vertiv, ge-vernova, eaton, stack-infrastructure, equinix, xai.
**Opportunity:** Utility interconnection queues are 4-7 years in PJM/ERCOT; the only way to bring 100-500MW AI campuses online by 2027 is behind-the-meter onsite generation (gas turbines, fuel cells) plus microgrid controls.
Power has overtaken cooling as the binding constraint. Bloom (fuel cells) just put Jeff Immelt on the board — a tell that they intend to play datacenter-scale. Schneider/Vertiv/Eaton/GE Vernova are the picks-and-shovels; Stack and Equinix are hiring utility-negotiators directly. Memphis Colossus 150MW gas-turbine spec is the canonical reference design.
_Evidence caveat: No demand_signal in A2._
